  • Worship Ministry

    We believe that worship is a way of life, the response of God's redeemed people to His self-revelation that exalts God's glory in Christ in our minds, affections, and wills, in the power of the Holy Spirit. Music, however, is the one way God has given us to express our undivided devotion to Him. As such, the Worship Team exists to facilitate an environment for the Church to worship, as one body, in Spirit and in Truth (John 4:24).

  • Intercessory Ministry

    If we live by the Spirit, let us also walk by the Spirit. Galatians 5:25 We are a team of intercessors dedicated to praying for our church community. From pastoral staff to ministry leaders to congregational member, we desire to see our church walking by the Spirit so that the church may glorify Christ.

  • BreakThru

    It is our mission to know Christ and to make him known through our creative expressions of performing arts. We praise him not only in song or dance, but by the lives we live that we may be instruments of his glory. "Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God. This is your spiritual act of worship" Romans 12:1

  • Sing Out Ministry

    "Speak to one another with psalms, hymns and spiritual songs. Sing and make music in your heart to the Lord, always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ." Ephesians 5:19-20

    We believe that music is a powerful means through which people experience God. It is our goal to become a prayerful and worshipful ministry to be a blessing to our church and to the global church by expressing the overflowing joy we have in Christ through song. We use our songs and testimonies to build a connection with the audience and to witness to all who listen.

  • Send (Summer Missions Support) Ministry

    Send desires to raise awareness and to involve RWC in God's mission in the overseas cross cultural context. We believe that while not every Christian may be called to go on overseas missions, every Christian is called to participate in what God is doing. By serving RWC in ways such as organizing short term missions trips and giving presentations, Send hopes that all individuals at RWC will catch the heart of missions. (Romans 10:15)

  • Ahav Community Outreach Ministry

    We desire people of every language, race, religion, age, and economic situation to be reconciled to the one true God through Jesus Christ. We believe in the importance of sharing the Gospel with others and in developing genuine relationships with those we serve. Our philosophy is a relational and spiritual approach. (Isaiah 61)

  • Coordinators Ministry

    We exist to honor God using our gifts to coordinate, manage, and support various church-wide aspects of RWC including major events and Sunday Service. Although it's a lot of behind the scenes work, we hope to do all things to glorify God and edify others. Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God's grace in its various forms 1 Peter 4:10

  • Welcoming & Hospitality

    Rather, speaking the truth in love, we to grow up in every way into him who is the head, into Christ, from whom the whole body, joined and held together by every joint with which it is equipped, when each part is working properly, makes the body grow so that it builds itself up in love. Ephesians 4:15-16 The welcoming ministry serves to extend hospitality to all people who come to Remnant Westside Church as well as greet newcomers and facilitate Sunday service.

  • Little Lambs Ministry

    Little Lambs Ministry is the infant ministry of Remnant Westside Church. We partner with parents in raising up children to know the Lord, love the Lord, and worship our Lord. Our vision is to minister to children in their most formative years by prayerfully caring for them as well as teaching them about God's great love. Our hope is that God will empower us to love our Remnant children with the love of Christ so that they may taste and see that the Lord is truly good.

  • Helps Team

    Helps Team works hand in hand with Coordinators by helping plan church-wide events. This team is for people who want to serve but may not know where or can't commit to an entire year. Commitment level depends on event and responsibilities can range from coming up with fresh ideas to planning the event.

  • Community Service Projects

    Community Service Projects are monthly events that anyone in the church can attend. Our goal is to love our neighbors through service and to get to know the community around us. We work with non-profit organizations that cares for the holistic needs of New York City.

  • Media

    Utilizing various forms of media (video, photography, print, and web), the media team communicates information in dynamic ways and acts as an outlet for one to express his/her own creativity and work with all types of people and mediums.

    So neither he who plants nor he who waters is anything, but only God, who makes things grow. {1 Corinthians 3:7}

  • Ad Hocs

    Ad Hocs are willing and able people brought together to coordinate a church-wide event. Commitment level depends on event and responsibilities can range from coming up with fresh ideas to planning the event.
